Woody Herman's Herds were among the greatest of the swing bands of the 1940s, 50s, and 60s. This 1964 TV appearance features Herman's late group, the fifteen-piece Swingin' Herd. Woody and the band perform some of his greatest hits, including Woodchopper's Ball, Four Brothers, Blue Flame, and his theme song Caldonia. Pianist Nat Pierce is the featured guest.
