On April 20, 1964, Le Jazz Hot Room at the Casa Loma Club in Montréal featured
Duke Ellington and his Orchestra for a one-week engagement. Fortunately, Radio-Canada
was there to record the opening night, and the kinescope of that telecast is now available
on home video for the first time. It captures a great band at its peak.
